Video: Engine-swapped Chrysler 300 packs supercar levels of power

The regular 2021MY Chrysler 300 S is only good for 304 PS (300 hp / 224 kW), making it adequate for daily driving but not exciting enough for speed junkies. Khal_SRT decided to see what could be gained from an extreme engine swap – and the result took even us by surprise.

The large sedan got its standard mill replaced with a monstrous Dodge Hellephant V8 rated at 1,014 PS (1,000 hp / 745 kW) and 1,288 Nm (950 lb-ft) of torque. The crate engine can be purchased for $30,000, while another $2,265 buys you a handy installation kit for those unafraid of getting their elbows greasy.
