Kia EV9 gets a blackout edition

The all-electric Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition has made a stylish entrance at the New York International Auto Show.

It’s based on the GT-Line spec with two e-motors, 385 PS (380 hp / 283 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque going to all four wheels. Buyers get glossy black exterior trim, 20-inch wheels with the same finish and a matching interior with intricate premium stitching. Those who want it can also order their car in brown, an exterior color that’s currently exclusive to the EV9 Nightfall Edition.

Sales will start before the end of Q2, the company says.
