Peek inside the cabin of the facelifted Kia K9/K900

Kia continues lifting the veil over its refreshed K9 flagship, a.k.a. the K900 in some countries. Here’s what the car now looks like from the inside.

Whereas the current version shown in the video maxes out at a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, the new one ups the ante with a 14.5-inch one. The UI gets its share of improvements, and OTA updates will be supported, too.

Owners will be able to track the location of their car and start its engine remotely using a mobile app. Remote access to the all-around camera view system has also been implemented to allow the assess the situation around the car from their smartphone.

A fingerprint scanner is required for the driver identification system to work properly. Whenever the car receives info about the driver, it automatically switches numerous settings to their personal preferences, including HVAC system temperature and audio volume/EQ settings. Fingerprints are also used for the fast authorization of online purchases.

Elsewhere, the update brings along thicker windows that should translate into improved noise proofing. New trim schemes are also on the list along with an extra-comfortable driver’s seat and a rear right passenger’s seat that supports a mode called Relaxation.
