Mercedes-AMG SL gains exclusivity with new Manufaktur options

The Mercedes-AMG SL lineup is now included in the carmaker’s in-house customization program, Manufaktur. As such, all buyers of the convertible can now order it with a much wider selection of exterior finishes, soft tops and interior trims. The prices remain to be revealed.

For the body, there are eight new colors – some gloss, other matte and the rest neutral. Examples include Vintage Blue, Irish Green Magno, and Black Night. The top can be black or red in the standard spec, but you can pay extra for a dark blue version.

The cabin gets seven two-tone Nappa leather trims with diamond stitching. The dominant color is black, but you can liven it up with some less-common options like Pinkish Grey, Tobacco Brown or Yacht Blue. Aside from the seats, the leather can be put on the door panels, some of the dashboard and the center console.

Rounding off the list are long-piled, embroidered floor mats.
