Xiaomi SU7 outsells Tesla Model 3 in China

IT giant Xiaomi only started selling its first-ever electric car – the SU7 – in April 2024, but it has already surpassed Elon Musk’s affordable sedan in popularity.

The Chinese company has reported selling 162,384 units of the SU7 domestically in April 2024 – January 2025. The Model 3 has found 152,748 buyers in the country over the same period.
