Bentley rolls out another Le Mans-inspired Bentayga special

The Bentley Bentayga Apex Edition was announced last year as a series of 20 bespoke SUVs, but the last vehicle in the batch received extra modifications to remind everyone about the automaker’s sixth victory at the Le Mans endurance marathon.

Specifically, Bentley designers had this example styled after the Continental GT Le Mans Collection revealed a few years ago (see video). That car celebrated the 20th anniversary since the company’s last Le Mans gold.

The Bentayga seen here wears the same green livery with a white stripe running down the middle, a similar-looking body kit, 22-inch carbon-fiber wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes. From the technical standpoint, it stays stock with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 pushing 550 PS (542 hp / 405 kW) to the wheels.
