Dodge Challenger HPE1200 by Hennessey gets 1,200 hp / 895 kW

As you probably already know by now, there are people to whom there is simply no such thing as too much engine performance – even if we are talking about the Dodge Challenger Demon with its 840 hp (626 kW) straight from the factory. Car tuner Hennessey is only too happy to oblige, offering its latest HPE1200 power kit that can boost that car to 1,200 hp or 895 kW.

The company declined comment on the details of the upgrade, but it is clear that things were taken much farther than a simple firmware update. The engineer team likely had to rework the exhaust system and the supercharger, as well as swap certain components for their heavy-duty forged counterparts.

Aware of the sheer power of the car, Hennessey Performance decided to play it safe and equipped it with a roll cage as well as a brake parachute.
