Kia K4 hatchback bows in New York

The K4 will be available in hatchback flavor in late 2025, Kia revealed during the New York International Auto Show last weekend.

The vehicle is 4,430 mm (173 inches) long and comes with two powertrain options to choose from. A naturally aspirated 2.0-liter unit sends 149 PS (147 hp / 110 kW) and 179 Nm (132 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels via a CVT. A 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder makes 193 PS (190 hp / 142 kW) and 264 Nm (195 lb-ft) working with an eight-speed automatic.

Opting for a GT-Line package will get you 18-inch wheels instead of standard 17-inch ones, larger front brakes, multi-link rear suspension and sportier shock absorber settings. The package is only optional for the non-turbo version, though, while the turbo comes with it preinstalled.
