AMG teases its first SUV EV

Mercedes-Benz has posted the first photo from its AMG division previewing an all-electric crossover it’s been working on.

The still-unnamed model is the automaker’s second one to be based on the state-of-the-art platform known as the AMG.EA (Electric Architecture). As such, it features multiple axle-mounted e-motors in all versions.

The first AMG electric vehicle to debut will be a large liftback. It will be properly announced sometime in 2025.

As for the SUV seen here, it has only just begun running its public road tests. Some time will have to pass until it is ready for production.
