Nissan Unveils Sentra Spec-V Concept at SEMA Show

Nissan has revealed the Sentra Spec-V Concept ahead of this year's SEMA Show. The concept car transforms the current Sentra into a race-inspired vehicle, paying homage to the Sentra SE-R community 35 years after its launch.

The Spec-V Concept features an upgraded turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine. This engine includes new rods, pistons, 550cc injectors, and a Garrett G25-550 turbo, producing 300 horsepower. A modified six-speed transmission and a helical limited-slip differential from a Nismo Juke RS are also incorporated. The vehicle's mechanical enhancements extend to upgraded front shocks with remote reservoirs, stiffer springs, and new sway bars. For braking, the concept uses GT-R Nismo components, including six-piston front Brembo calipers with 15.35-inch discs and four-piston rear calipers with 15-inch discs.

Visually, the Sentra Spec-V Concept is distinguished by a Bomex widebody kit, which includes flared fenders and a reshaped front bumper and grille that displays an upgraded intercooler. A custom hood with cooling vents, the same rear wing as the GT-R Nismo, and custom side-exiting exhausts are also part of the design. The car rides on Nismo 19-inch LM-RS1 forged wheels with Advan Neova AD09 tires and features a custom wrap with red accents. The interior includes Recaro front seats from a GT-R Nismo, a Nismo steering wheel, a custom seatbelt harness bar, and black accents.
