Genesis reimagines the G90 in coupe and convertible flavors

Genesis has come to the Seoul Mobility Show with two concept cars named the X Gran Coupe and X Gran Convertible. Both run on the platform of the company’s G90 sedan; neither has been confirmed for production.

Aside from having two doors less than their donor, the concepts also sport widened fenders, chopped roofs and new wheels. The steering wheel is also new with three spokes instead of two, and the trim all around is supposed to remind us about the Mediterranean olive groves with its subdued green and brown hues.

In designing the convertible, Genesis additionally drew inspiration from Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. The designers say the rich shade of blue stems from the color of the grapes.
