Mercedes-Benz Updates C-Class for 2027 Model Year

Mercedes-Benz has updated the C-Class for the 2027 model year, introducing revised styling, an updated powertrain, and new technology. The U.S.-bound, non-AMG, gasoline-powered C-Class will be available as a C350, with or without 4Matic all-wheel drive. Other models have not yet been announced.

The C350 will feature a new mild-hybrid 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which incorporates an electric supercharger to address torque gaps. Mercedes-Benz also states that the adaptive damper suspension has been adjusted to reduce body roll and enhance sportiness while maintaining comfort. The interior largely retains its current design, featuring a 12.3-inch gauge cluster screen and an 11.9-inch infotainment display.

A notable technological update is the integration of new artificial intelligence features. The C-Class's virtual assistant will utilize AI from ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing, and Google Gemini, allowing for conversational interactions and various inquiries.

The 2027 C-Class maintains its established design philosophy, featuring exterior changes such as a lighted grille with Mercedes tri-stars. An optional 15-speaker Burmester 3D Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos is also available.
