Carlex Design turns the Mercedes G-Class into a Viking with a rifle collection

The renowned Polish customizer continues producing automotive works of art on the G-Class chassis. Their latest creation is called the G-Viking and comes adorned with Scandinavian ornaments applied over hundreds of hours of manual labor.

It goes without saying that the richly detailed engraving on the roof represents the biggest highlight of the project. It is supported by elegant Nordic accents on the sides and body kit parts. The kit is standard Carlex fare and consists of revised front and rear aprons, as well as flared wheel arches. The exterior is finished in two shades of brown with silver accents and genuine diamond dust details.

If you saw other Carlex projects before, you’ll know what to expect from the interior. As per the tradition, it’s been redone from the ground up using aged dark brown leather for the upholstery. It’s worth noting that the project was carried out in collaboration with VO Vapen, Swedish bespoke producer of hunting and sports rifles. This is why the owner of the SUV got a quartet of luxury rifles with their purchase, called Odin, Thor, Loki and Midvinterblot. All four bear the same ornaments as the car and boast natural gold accents.
