Revived Saoutchik works its magic on the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL

After taking a seventy-year break from business, car customizer Saoutchik is back on track with a new project named the 300GTC, inspired by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL from 67 years ago.

The rights to the Saoutchik brand were acquired by a company named Saoutchik BV in Netherlands eight years ago. Ugur Sahin Design, which handles the design of the car, says it will try to stay true to the vision of the brand established by Jacques Saoutchik. It only has these 3D renderings to show us for the time being, but says it intends to produce 15 examples.

There are still no technical specifications, launch date or pricing details.
