Check out a Toyota Supra making a lazy Lambo Reventon impression

A bizarre 1990 Toyota Supra mimicking a Lamborghini Reventon is up for grabs in the Netherlands right now, sporting that “neither here nor there” look typical of cheap homegrown builds.

On a brighter note, the exterior paint job succeeds in imitating Lambo’s own color used for the Roadster version of the Reventon. The rest is hit-or-miss, heavily leaning into the “miss” territory.

For one thing, the proportions are all over the place. It’s not really surprising, because the Supra has its engine at the front end while the Reventon has it between the axles. Even so, most body panels look like they were improvised on the spot, rather than carefully designed. Panel gaps and misalignments abound as a result.

A three-liter six-pot still sends its usual 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW) to the rear wheels. The interior is largely stock, but misses much of the trim and has exposed wires running along the transmission tunnel. That’s the opposite of what we’ve come to associate with quality engineering.

A couple years ago when this Frankenstein monstrosity first cropped up on sale, it changed hands for €19,950. The current asking price is €13,250.
