Rivian faces lawsuits over alleged safety violations

The U.S.-based electric vehicle manufacturer is under fire from factory workers who have sustained injuries ranging from broken fingers to fractured skulls.

The employees of the Rivian industrial complex in Normal, Illinois are complaining about poor labor protection and subpar training standards. One of the workers has recently ended up with a severe head injury (a cracked skull), while another had to have his finger amputated and another one still had to undergo complex back surgery over a lacerated wound.

The media believe that Rivian is now worse off than any other car manufacturer in the States in terms of labor safety. The company has allegedly received more warnings for serious safety issues at its one and only factory in Illinois than any other automaker operating multiple factories nationwide.
