Suzuki Jimny spawns a farewell edition in Italy
The Suzuki Jimny is departing from Europe, but Italy will be getting a series of 150 “Mata” off-roaders before the production ends.
Compared to the Jimny “Horizon” previewed a few months ago, the Mata features a distinct two-tone paintjob, its own radiator grille design, and silver trims on the bumpers and side sills.
With Suzuki hesitant to go all-electric in the declining market, it plans to make the next Jimny generation hybrid. Just when it may be ready to ship is still unclear, so the Mata Edition may be your last chance to buy one in a few years.
