Oldsmobile jet truck with a show history crops up on sale

Copart is selling a custom-built 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme right now. The land rocket has two glass domes instead of a cabin, a bold aero kit and a salvaged title.

The listing is scant on details. We know that the vehicle packs a 3.8-liter V6 driving the rear wheels. It is decorated with sporty graphics highlighting its smooth outlines and drag racing bias. As for the damage, most of it was reportedly sustained by the double-bubble top, while the frame and the drivetrain should be in decent condition.

The Drive adds that the car had spent several years sitting on a parking lot near a mall in Missouri, serving as a local landmark. It was originally designed to participate in traveling jet truck shows, but ended up towing the famous Shockwave dragster most of the time.
