Hyundai will hold the N Day Presentation Event on July 15, 2022, which will be dedicated to a mysterious, next-generation, high-performance car. The teaser pic accompanying the announcement hints that it might be a coupe.
The social media post reveals little except promising driving enjoyment in electric car era – which may or may not sound reassuring depending on your preferences. Despite the cover, you can see that the car has a rather long nose part and a short tail with a rear wing almost reaching the height of the roof.
All current Hyundai cars belong to the Ioniq sub-brand, so it would be logical to expect a new entry in that lineup. We suppose it might be called the Ioniq 8, because the 5 and the 6 already exist and the 7 denotes an upcoming SUV.
Whichever the case, introducing a new all-electric coupe would enable Hyundai to occupy a new market niche that’s currently low on competition.
