Forget promises, Jeep Wrangler V6 gets 8AT after all
In September, the U.S. office of Stellantis assured us that the new Jeep Wrangler with a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 under the hood would be shipping exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission.
The company has now changed its mind, apparently after receiving “customer feedback.” The Wrangler will soon be available with an 8AT instead of the 6MT on board.
Expect to pay $4,500 extra for the automatic.
