Brawn racecar goes on sale
The racer briefly owned by the Brawn GP Formula 1 Racing Team is set to cross the auction block soon.
The Brawn GP team had only participated in one F1 season before dissolving. Rubens Barrichello drove this car, designated with the chassis number 001/01, through the entire season of 2009 and achieved impressive results.
Once the season was over, the racecar was handed over to F1 champion Jenson Button. It’s unknown how long it had stayed in his possession. It’s also unclear what state the drivetrain is in and whether it needs costly repairs to get back on track.
