Next-gen JMC Yuhu patented in China

The new JMC Yuhu pickup uses the same frame as before, but looks completely different.

Judging by the certification data, the upcoming truck retains the body-on-frame design of its predecessor but none of its body panels. Buyers will be choosing from two body lengths – 5,322 and 5,612 mm, which corresponds to 207.9 and 219.2 inches, accordingly. The rear axle is a solid beam, like before.

The only engine registered so far is a 2.5-liter turbo diesel rated at 167 PS (165 hp / 123 kW). The truck maxes out at 160 km/h (99 mph).

The current JMC Yuhu generation has been around for 13 years and has gone through multiple facelifts (see video). It seems likely that the new pickup debuts before the end of this month.
