Now Official: Lancia Delta comes back as an electric hot hatch

Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano confirmed that a Delta reviving is indeed coming to the market, although much remains to be done.

Speaking in a recent interview, Napolitano said, ‘Everyone wants the Delta.’ He added that the automaker could not ignore the demand and thus included the car in its future production schedule.

All we know about the revived sports hatch is that it is going to be all-electric and incorporate modern technologies. Having said that, all Lancia vehicles will be all-electric starting from 2026.

The Ypsilon will be the last ICE-powered Lancia model on the lineup. It will transition into its next generation in 2024 and get an electric variant later.
