GFG Style, a company founded by Giorgetto and Fabricio Giugiaro, has built a fine replica of the Maserati Boomerang Concept originally penned by Giorgetto when he worked for the Italian car company 54 years ago.
It’s called the Peralta S and borrows its name from Carlos Peralto, from Mexico, who commissioned it. It features a polished aluminum bodywork with a rear wing, original LED lights all around, aftermarket wheels, and video cameras instead of side mirrors.
Lifting the cabin dome provides access into a two-seat interior. Note how the side windows look like gullwing doors when raised – this is intentional, like many other design tricks found throughout the build.
GFG Style says the car was assembled largely by hand using aluminum and carbon-fiber components. Where the chassis comes from is unknown, but we’ve heard people say it was a Maserati MC20 before the conversion. This implies a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 sending 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) to the wheels.
