Lavish Mercedes 560 SEC restomod hits auction

Right now, Bring-a-Trailer is selling a gorgeous and well-appointed Mercedes-Benz 560SEC restomod giving off distinct AMG Hammer vibes. The bidding has already reached $278,000 with two days left.

Built by Bespoke Orange County, the iconic car wound up with an AMG Hammer-esque body kit complete with two carbon-fiber bumpers, side skirts, custom 17-inch wheels and a Smoke Silver Metallic finish.

The stock engine made room for a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, but not of American make – Bespoke Orange County went for a more recent Mercedes-AMG cylinder block here. The listing neglects to specify the output, but mentions a six-speed manual gearbox routing the power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.
