Renault teases Twingo E-Tech ahead of premiere

The affordable all-electric Twingo E-Tech will debut on November 6, 2025, but preorders should open sooner than that. Based on the same-name concept (see video), the car is expected to start below €20,000.

In the meantime, we have these teaser pics to go by. Renault claims it tried to make the EV look similar to its first generation. This is especially evident in the headlights with semicircular LED sections, a short, sloping hood and a vivid exterior finish. All in all, it looks almost unchanged from the concept version.

Assuming that the interior follows the same example, there will be physical HVAC controls and retro-inspired upholstery juxtaposed by a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen. This remains to be confirmed, of course.

Once out and about, the Twingo E-Tech will occupy the lowest tier of the automaker’s E-Tech lineup also including the models 4, 5, Megane, and Scenic. Its detailed specifications are being kept secret, but we wouldn’t expect much given its “entry-level” positioning. Right now, Renault’s cheapest EV powertrain comprises a 95-PS (94-hp / 70-kW) motor and a 40-kWh battery pack.
