Lamborghini stays committed to electrification

The shrinking of the EV market has seen many automakers rushing to review their overly optimistic product strategies, but Lamborghini? It hasn’t changed a bit.

According to the CEO of the company, Stephan Winkelmann, the Lanzador EV remains slated for release in 2028, exactly as originally promised.

Speaking in his latest interview, Winkelmann admitted that the company might still reconsider launching its first fully electric supercar if the market continues its downward plunge. With the launch date still some four years away, it wouldn’t be too wrong to postpone it. However, at least for now, there are no such plans.
