Zeekr 007 wagon hits the road in China

Geely-owned premium vehicle brand Zeekr has begun testing the estate car version of its 007 model. The images are courtesy of CarNewsChina.

The car is expected to debut next year both in China and in Europe. Touted as a “wagon” by Zeekr and the local media, it actually resembles a liftback with its gently sloped roof. This makes it look very similar to the Zeekr 001, which is officially considered a Shooting Brake.

Confusing nomenclature aside, the new model has five doors and sports all-new quarterpanel glass not seen before on any other Zeekr. The front fascia looks borrowed from the 007 sedan without any modifications.

The same probably goes for the engine lineup. The latest facelift brought two electric powertrain options to the market. One of them is RWD and has 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW), while the other one is AWD and commands 646 PS (637 hp / 475 kW). Both are obtainable with batteries 75 and 100 kWh large.
