The incoming model year 2027 sees Toyota’s Alphard and Vellfire minivans updated with new décor, optimized suspension setup and wider interior trim options, while the powertrains carry over intact.
The range-topping Executive Lounge spec now flaunts stylish bronze accents as part of the standard trim. All MPVs can now be optioned with a Neutral Black exterior finish and 18-inch alloy wheels sporting a HyperChrome look. Trim-wise, most options are now shared between the mild-hybrid (HEV) and plug-in-hybrid (PHEV) variants of the vans – no more paywalled premium features.
In turn, the chassis gets adaptive shock absorbers said to be capable of rapid adjustment to all road surfaces. Toyota claims this improves the ride quality on all surfaces for both the Vellfire and the Alphard.
Prices in Japan start from ¥5,599,000 (U.S. $35,000) for the new Alphard and from ¥6,947,000 ($43,400) for the updated Vellfire.
