Volkswagen has shed light on its facelifted Atlas Cross Sport. While the exterior changes may be minimal, it’s the cabin where most of the evolution happens this time around.
Starting with the exterior, the front air intakes are visibly larger than before, while the lights all around sport more complex light patterns. New wheels are available in sizes from 18 to 21 inches across, and there are three new body finish options on the list.
A peek inside reveals a completely redesigned front panel, a new 10.3-inch digital dashboard, and transmission stalks under the steering wheel. The infotainment display diagonal size starts at 12.9 inches in the base spec and goes to 15 inches in all higher specs. The center tunnel offers not one, but two phone charging pads.
As well, the base trim now includes a nine-speaker audio system, window curtains for the rear row, a power-assisted tailgate, and front/rear parking sensors. Paid extras include a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and assorted ADAS.
In its U.S. market version, the 2027 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport utilizes a 2.0-liter turbo four-pot with 286 PS (282 hp / 210 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
Volkswagen hopes to begin deliveries in early 2027.
