Check out the one and only Jeeporghini, a Wrangler putting on supercar airs

A car enthusiast from North Carolina procured a 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ Convertible and spent a few months turning it into a parody of the iconic Lamborghini Countach. It’s still meant to be a functional off-road vehicle, so the attention to detail is impressive.

According to Kyle – the mastermind behind this crazy build – he procured a used Pontiac Fiero stylized after the Countach by a previous owner. He took off the car’s glass-fiber bodywork and plopped it on top of the Wrangler. The roof proved too tall, so he ended up cutting the Jeep’s tubular frame in several places. Even with this sacrilege committed, the off-roader still didn’t take well to its new body, so it also had to be cut and reshaped.

The result admittedly looks rather goofy. with the Wrangler’s bull bar protruding upwards through the faux-Countach’s front end. Rather than attempting to fix the mismatched bits further, Kyle decided to lean into the absurdity of his build and paint the whole body using a technique similar to cel-shading. He painted the panels in Desert Tan and highlighted the creases and gaps in black, resulting in a flat and cartoonish look for the Jeeporghini.

The stock engine with its manual transmission and all-wheel drive system were retained. We don’t know the specific make of the engine, but the Wrangler YJ Convertbile shipped with either 125 PS (123 hp / 92 kW) or 193 PS (190 hp / 142 kW).
