Reports: Mercedes-Benz sunsetting its compact van lineup
According to recent media reports, the production of all Mercedes-Benz Citan, EQT and T-Class vans is scheduled to come to an end in 2026.
All these models are technically related to the Renault Kangoo and being assembled at the Renault factory in France.
As a possible explanation, Mercedes’ switching its focus to luxury, high-margin vehicles means it has no need to maintain multiple lineups of small and wallet-friendly commercial vans.
