Build your own Lexus LFA with this official paper cutout

Lexus UK has marked the tenth anniversary of its LFA model by publishing paper cutout templates on its website, which you can use to assemble your own replica of the supercar.

You will need a color printer, scissors, and paper glue (double-sided duct tape works, too). The assembly process is divided into 13 stages and takes between 1 and 2 hours. Four different templates enable you to make an LFA of your choice: white, blue, orange, or Gazoo Racing-themed.

The original Lexus LFA packed a 4.8-liter V10 that drove the rear wheels with 560 PS (552 hp / 412 kW) and 480 Nm (356 lb-ft). The car needed around 3.7 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph), around 11.4 seconds to reach 200 km/h (124 mph), and maxed out at 326 km/h (202 mph). Production ended in 2012, mere two years after the launch, and was limited to half a thousand units. Used prices in Great Britain currently hover around £500,000.

The Japanese automaker actually pays serious attention to the origami skills of its employees. For instance, hopeful workshop supervisors coming to a job interview must be able to fold a paper sheet into an origami cat within 90 seconds or less using their secondary hand.

Infiniti, Nissan and Toyota treated their fans to similar paper projects in the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic; you can find these with a quick search.
