GMC Yukon gets a pair of tuning kits from PaxPower

U.S.-based tuning shop PaxPower has released some aftermarket options for the current GMC Yukon lineup. You can choose between an urban kit and an off-road kit with a supercharger package available for both.

Starting with the off-road version, it’s called JackalSUV and replaces the shocks and the springs. You can choose your preferred brand from two options, Fox Factory and Icon Vehicle Dynamics. Upper front and lower rear control arms get replaced, too.

This package also includes 20-inch wheels with BFGoodrich K03 all-terrain tires 35 inches in diameter, although you can go for other wheel options sized from 17 to 22 inches large. The ground clearance gains approximately 76 mm (3 inches) at the front and 26 mm (1 inch) at the back. A Borla exhaust system rounds off the list.

City dwellers will appreciate the other package, which is called SportSUV. It replaces the stock wheels with eye-catching 24-inch rims from 4Play, blacks out any chrome accents on the exterior and swaps the exhaust system with the abovementioned Borla. The suspension hardware stays stock, but the software gets tuned for a 26mm (1-inch) lower stance.

Aside from these, you can get a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger to drive that 6.2-liter V8 of yours, resulting in 659 PS (650 hp / 485 kW) and 889 Nm (656 lb-ft) of torque.

Orders are already being processed. The off-road pack and the engine upgrade cost $15,450 each and the city package starts from $7,950.
