Toyota’s next RAV4 leans into the fantastic
Toyota has announced the RAV4 Dark Side Performance for its TAS-2025 lineup, advertised as “futuristic” and “fantastic”. All specifications are secret, but here are some photos.
To liven things up, the SUV looks like a cross between an anime ride and a sci-fi vehicle. sports a particularly edgy and angular front end, lots of extra body kit parts, and assertive fender flares.
Greenish-blue backlight is used throughout, and the interior boasts carbon trims. Intriguingly, there’s also a solid panel where the radiator grille usually is. Electric? We won’t know until the show. Toyota also won’t say whether a version like this will get a production run or not. Guess we’ll have to wait.
