Chrysler shelves SUV EV plans
According to the letters that multiple dealerships in the United States received this week, Chrysler no longer plans to release a fully electric SUV in 2025.
The EV had been in development for three years. The message to the dealerships states that all work on the model internally known as the C6X (CA) is being halted until further notice.
It looks like the company – which is a part of the struggling Stellantis Group – is wary about expanding its EV lineup while the market continues shrinking.
This leaves Chrysler without any new premieres in 2025, unless there is something we haven’t heard about yet.
