Mansory makes Rolls-Royce Spectre EV shine with genuine gold

The German tuner has unveiled the latest Rolls-Royce from its extravagant “Linea d’Oro” lineup. Working with an electric Spectre coupe, the tuners generously plated it with natural gold for a client from a Middle East country.

Every exterior part that used to be chrome or silver became gold, even the Spirit of Ecstasy ornament on the hood. The sheer amount of precious metal used throughout is staggering, but someone must have felt that it still wasn’t enough. At least, that’s the only explanation we have for the wheels looking like they do with all the gold leaf applied.

Similar metamorphoses took place in the cabin, which went for a white/gold combo to juxtapose the black/gold exterior. Mansory used leather, fabric and carbon inserts with intricate patterns on them for the trim.

The powertrain stayed stock, meaning two motors driving the four wheels with 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque in total. A stock Spectre can sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.4 seconds.
