Subaru Trailseeker EV bows in New York

The U.S. office of Subaru has properly introduced the Trailseeker, a fully electric crossover SUV for North America.

It’s roughly 15 cm (6 inches) longer than the Solterra, which is 4.7 meters or 184 inches long, and just 2 cm (0.8”) taller. With a ground clearance of 210 mm (8.2”) and AWD as part of the standard spec, it should be a capable of some overlanding.

For the powertrain, Subaru promises around 380 PS (375 hp / 279 kW) and at least 418 km (260 miles) of range thanks to a sizable 74.7-kWb battery.

Sales in the USA won’t begin until early 2026.
