Insane: Suzuki Jimny on 42-inch wheels

The Japanese mini-SUV Suzuki Jimny has been really popular among tuners lately. Some try to remodel it into a downsized copy of the Mercedes G-Class, while others go for a replica of the Land Rover Defender. This Suzuki Jimny Monster Edition, however, will put them all to shame.

Responsible for the tuning is the relatively little-known Japanese car atelier R31House. The vicious monster truck crashed the Tokyo Auto Salon party flaunting an utterly disproportionate set of tires 42 inches (106 cm) large, causing many to want to wipe their eyes and try another glimpse.

By the way, don’t you find that the miniature SUV looks a bit like a toy car with all the huge off-road rubber? Because that’s what it’s meant to portray. Suzuki has licensed off a series of Jimny-inspired toys meant for sale in Japan. Naturally, it needed some kind of advertisement to launch the series. And here you go!
