Video: Audi tests its e-tron Sportback prototype in snowy Finland

After giving car spotters all the opportunity in the world to photograph and film the new e-tron Sportback test mule from every conceivable angle, Audi finally thought it would be appropriate to release an official video showing the all-electric SUV coupe withstanding road trials in wintertime Finland. Oh well, better late than never, we guess.

All we currently know about the vehicle is that it is a coupe/SUV combo scheduled to enter production in Brussels, Belgium, and ship in late 2019.

Audi revealed the Q4 e-tron SUV at the recently concluded Geneva Motor Show, but the car has virtually nothing in common with the upcoming e-tron Sportback.

The original e-tron Sportback Concept emerged in 2017. The car came powered by two engines (one per axle) together rated at 500 hp (370 kW), and had a voluminous 95 kWh battery sufficient for 500 km (310 miles) of range. It took 4.5 seconds to get it going at 100 km/h (62 mph).
