This is what the next-gen Karma Revero sedan/saloon looks like

Karma Automotive has released the first teaser image showing the next generation of its Revero hybrid car. The sedan/saloon will celebrate its live premiere at the 2019 Auto Shanghai show in April.

According to the company, the new Karma Rrevero isn’t just faster, but also smarter than its predecessor. The latest version comes equipped with two electric engines jointly rated at 410 hp (306 kW) and 1,330 Nm (981 lbft) of torque. The drivetrain also includes a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine capable of 238 hp (177 kW), whose only purpose lies in charging the 20.8 kWh traction battery. The car covers 80 km (50 mi) on a single battery charge, or 483 km (300 mi) when fully fueled and charged.

The Karma Revero sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.4 seconds and reaches its electronically-set speed cap at 200 km/h (124 mph).

Karma Automotive will use the Auto Shanghai show to reveal another model as well, this time an all-electric SUV concept it built together with Pininfarina.
