dÄhler-tuned BMW M2 delivers M8 power in a compact package

Swiss tuner dÄhler has produced a range of upgrades for the controversial new BMW M2, landing it with engine and suspension mods alongside a stylish body kit.

New coilovers in the suspension allow drivers to adjust compression, rebound and ride height in small steps. Those who don’t need as much flexibility may opt for simple fixed-length springs instead. While at it, dÄhler recommends upgrading the brake lines to Stahlflex ones made of steel.

The Stage I engine upgrade has been listed on the tuner’s website for a while now, and has now been complemented with a Stage II package. Once applied, it raises the output to 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. Both models with the six-speed manual and those with the eight-speed automatic transmission are supported.

As far as eye candy is concerned, the M2 gets an extended visible-carbon body kit. Our favorites include the front splitter, the rear diffuser and the rear wing.

Novelty inside is minimal, boiling down to a heated steering wheel with an Alcantara finish, branded floor mats and a short-throw gear lever for the manual version.
