Nex-gen VW Sagitair pics leak in China

The FAW-Volkswagen joint enterprise has patented the next generation of its mid-sized Sagitair sedan. It’s basically a stretched Jetta for the Chinese domestic market.

By all indications, the underlying platform is still MQB. The new car is 4,812 mm long, 1,813 mm wide and 1,479 mm tall with 2,731 mm of wheelbase. At this time, the only powertrain registered is a 1.5T rated at 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque.

Sales in China are expected to begin in Q3 2025.
