Does this Toyota Camry Glorious Edition look glorious to you?

GAC-Toyota has launched a new special edition of the Camry sedan in China. It is dubbed “Glorious” and is being advertised as a sportier alternative to the stock version.

Every car comes pained in matte grey – no other options. Chrome only remains around the side windows, while the badges and the grille are now black. The car wears a rather modest-looking body kit as well, composed of a front spoiler, a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler.

Velvet and natural leather make up the interior trim. 64-color ambient lighting with advanced light patterns helps create an ambience, and the trim level is maxed out. This means that 19-inch wheels, two 12.3-inch displays, a heads-up display, a Dynaudio sound system and a panoramic roof are already included.

Customers in China are choosing between a petrol engine and two hybrid powertrains based on a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and its 2.5-liter counterpart. Prices start from 202,800 Yuan.
