1 of 10 Koenig-tuned Porsche 911 Turbo goes on sale

A 10 Porsche 911 Turbo customized by the famous shop known as Koenig is up for grabs in the UK right now with an asking price of £299,000.

The car wears a complete glass-fiber body kit including a new front end, door panels, side sills and quarter panels. It also features a new engine deck lid with a spoiler on it, original Porsche 928 headlights and Audi 200 Turbo taillights.

The interior makes do with minimal changes. Things look more interesting in the suspension department, where Bilstein shocks and reinforced sway bars should result in a sportier and more modern ride. A front suspension brace has also been added to make the body more rigid in turns.

A peek under the hood reveals a flat-six engine stroked out from 3.3 to 3.4 liters of displacement and equipped with a larger turbocharger. A new ECU and an aftermarket exhaust system handle the increased output. The listing doesn’t mention how much exactly, but different Koenig 911s normally delivered between 480 and 550 PS (473–542 hp; 353–405 kW). That’s a nice improvement over the stock 325 PS (321 hp / 239 kW).

The customer who ordered this particular car had the standard four-speed manual transmission replaced with a five-speed one. As a result, the 911 can sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and may exceed 300 km/h (186 mph) in a straight line. Koenig only made a dozen tuned cars like this – the rest of the bunch were equipped with the body kit, but not the tech upgrades.

According to the listing, this example was made in 1988 and has since covered 25,000 kilometers (15,500 miles). It has belonged to just one owner all along.
