Japan redefines “over-the-top” with this Lambo Diablo

Value Progress, a tuner from Japan, decided to transform a Lamborghini Diablo into something truly Japanese and eye-catching. Let’s just say it succeeded within the given task description.

What used to be a sleek Italian supercar became a grotesque Bosozoku ride – slammed suspension, a brutal aero kit and buckets of carbon fiber all around (note the bit on the windshield wiper). Speaking of which, the company proudly proclaims that the windshield is about the only part of the exterior left original – everything else is custom. Not like you need to be a genius to realize that looking at the rear end with its eight round taillights, high-mounted exhaust tips and colossal, plane-like wing.

The modifications make the Diablo whole 57 cm (22.4 in) longer and 36 cm (14.2 in) wider than stock. To make it as much of a head-turner as physically possible, Value Progress resprayed it in a color known as Italian Red and replaced the stock wheels with an aftermarket set measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 at the rear axle.
