Lamborghini Temerario breaks cover

The deluxe Temerario coupe comes to replace the retiring Lamborghini Huracan, bringing more power and dynamics to the table.

The car uses a new engine known as the L411, which can rev up to 10,000 RPM and outputs 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) along with 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of peak torque. Three electric motors rated at 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) each assist it, one installed between the engine and the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the other two are mounted one per rear wheel, resulting in electric AWD.

The combined output of 920 PS (907 hp / 677 kW) allows drivers to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.7 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 7.3 seconds and ultimately smash through 340 km/h (211 mph). Power for the motors comes from a lithium-ion battery hidden in the transmission tunnel, but it only stores 3.8 kilowatt-hours at most.

An optional carbon-fiber trim package called Alleggerita can be ordered to reduce the weight of the car by 25 kg (55 lbs) and improve the downforce by 53%.

More carbon fiber can be found in the cabin along with leather and Corsatex fabric. The dash houses as many as three displays – a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch infotainment screen in the middle and a 9.1-inch display for the front passenger. Telemetry and dash cam are already included in the standard configuration, and there is a 750W, seven-channel Sonus Faber audio system on board.
