This chameleon-bodied Porsche Taycan took over a year to create

Porsche’s Sonderwunsch division specializing in custom orders has unveiled a very special Taycan Turbo S capable of changing its color depending on the view angle and lighting.

The pigment is known as Celestial Jade and represents a mixture of two different “chameleon effect” paints. It may sound simple, but finding just the right proportion for the mix reportedly took the company more than a year of experimentation. Another 80 hours went into applying the paint to every panel of the electric car.

The spectacular result will be exhibited at various auto shows in Southeastern Asia first, after which it will be sold at a charity auction in the same region.
