Posaidon couldn’t resist tuning the Mercedes E63 S (S213) to 830+ hp

German tuner Posaidon seems to believe that it simply won’t do to take a modern European sports car in for a round of customization and let it go with fewer than 800 horses under the hood. This Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ T-Model (S213) serves to illustrate the point once again.

The upgrade is called RS 830+, which essentially means that the 4.0-liter V8 TT now pushes out at least 830 horsepower (620 kilowatts) along with 1,200 Newton-meters (885 pound-feet) of torque. This represents a healthy 218hp (163kW) and 350 Nm (258lb-ft) increase over the factory values.

However, when Posaidon released a similar upgrade for the E63 sedan last year, its actual measured performance came close to a whopping 880 hp (656 kW). This gives us reason to believe that the estate/wagon depicted here might be much stronger than claimed, too.

The full package includes new turbine chargers, a sports air filter and exhaust system, a larger intercooler and a substantial upgrade of the engine and transmission control software.

The company claims that once upgraded, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ T-Model (S213) will zap 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than three seconds and climb all the way to 360 km/h (224 mph) given the right conditions. Color us impressed!
