Geely announces Galaxy L9

The new Geely Galaxy L9 is envisioned as the next flagship SUV of the automaker’s electrified Galaxy lineup.

There is just one darkened teaser pic of the car so far – the rest of the gallery should give you an idea of what other Galaxy vehicles look like. The letter L in the model designation denotes a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a particularly large battery pack. Geely also puts a letter E on its all-electric models, so this one isn’t it.

Judging by certain details like side view cameras instead of mirrors and “hand-drawn” door handles, what we deal with here is a design study, rather than a finalized production car. It is officially set to debut in Beijing on Thursday, April 25.
